Does your dog have a behavioural issue?
We are here to help - with kindness, expert knowledge and without judgement
Clinical behaviourist Kay Warnes (Clinical Animal Behaviour MSc & Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer) combines the latest science with kind, practical training to create realistic, measurable change. We specialise in working with reactivity, separation distress, general anxiety and complex behaviour cases — always in close collaboration with your vet. Behavioural work is rarely instant. Our goal is reliable, lasting improvement and guardian confidence — not quick fixes.
"As high as 70% of behaviour issues are caused by discomfort or medical issues"
(McPeake et al. 2019)
*Health and behaviour are very closely linked. Therefore, to provide the best care for your dog, we need to make sure that all aspects of your dog's health have been considered before we start behavioural work. This often means working closely with your dog's vet to provide the most holistic care.

Why work with us?
Clinical expertise, not guesswork
Led by Clinical Animal Behaviourist Kay Warnes (CAB MSc & CSAT), every case is approached through a scientific, welfare-led lens. This is not generic training advice — it is structured behavioural assessment and evidence-based treatment planning.
We treat the whole dog
Behaviour does not exist in isolation. Pain, discomfort and medical factors often play a significant role. Collaboration with your dog’s veterinarian is strongly encouraged and supported wherever appropriate.
Compassion without judgement
There are no “bad dogs” and no “bad owners.” We meet you where you are and work forward together.
Support that builds independence
Our programmes are designed to strengthen your confidence and skills — not create long-term reliance. You’ll receive structured guidance, clear action steps and defined support periods so you can continue successfully beyond our work together.
Honest expectations
Behaviour change takes time. Some concerns improve significantly; others may require ongoing management. We will always be transparent about what is realistic, safe and ethical for your individual dog.
⸻
What to Expect
Behaviour modification is not about “fixing” a dog. It is about understanding emotional needs, reducing stress, improving safety, and helping everyone live more comfortably together.
Progress is rarely linear. Some dogs improve within weeks; others require months of consistent, thoughtful work. In some cases, behaviour may never fully disappear — but it can often be managed in a way that greatly improves quality of life.
Your involvement matters. Lasting change depends on your commitment to implementing strategies, completing agreed exercises, and communicating openly throughout the process.
